Strawberry sorbet

Strawberry sorbet

A refreshing burst of flavour.

  • Makes 1L
  • More than 2 hours


  • 800g hulled strawberries
  • ½ cup (125g) castor sugar
  • ½ cup (125ml) lemon juice
  • Pinch of salt


  1. Blitz strawberries, castor sugar, lemon juice and salt together in a food processor until smooth.
  2. Pour into a freezer-safe container and place in the coolest part of the freezer.
  3. Whisk vigorously every 30 minutes to break apart ice particles.
  4. Freeze until hard.
  5. Soften slightly before serving.
