Hot cross bun croque-monsieur
Add an Easter twist to this classic breakfast
- Serves 2
- Less than 30 minutes
- 2 PnP raisin-free hot cross buns
- 4 cooked bacon rashers
- ½ cup (60g) grated mozzarella
- ¼ cup (60ml) cheese sauce
- Preheat oven to 180°C.
- Halve hot cross buns and place the bottom halves on a greased baking tray.
- Top each with bacon, mozzarella and cheese sauce.
- Sandwich with bun top halves and bake for about 10 minutes, or until cheese melts.
- Serve hot.
