Crispy pilchard bites

A crispy snack that’s high in omega-3.

  • Serves 2
  • Less than 30 minutes



  1. Drain pilchards and set pilchard sauce aside.
  2. Season flour with salt, pepper and paprika.
  3. Heat oil in a medium-sized pot.
  4. Dip each pilchard into egg. Shake off excess and coat in seasoned flour.
  5. Fry until golden.
  6. Serve with sweet chilli sauce.
