Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C.

  2. Place eggs, milk, cream, sugar and spices in a bowl and whisk to combine.

  3. Stir in raisins.

  4. Grease a medium-sized ovenproof dish or 4 individual ramekins with butter.

  5. Place sliced buns in dish and pour over custard mixture.

  6. Sprinkle chocolate chunks on top.

  7. Bake until custard sets, about 20-25 minutes.

  8. Dust with icing sugar.
