  • Cut lettuce into wedges and place on a platter.

  • Scatter over celery, apples and grapes.

  • Mix ⅓ of the cheese with yoghurt, mayonnaise and lemon juice and season.

  • Drizzle dressing over salad and scatter over remaining cheese and walnuts.

  • Serve immediately.

Good ideas

  • Substitute blue cheese with feta. 

  • Replace grapes with golden sultanas or dried cranberries.

  • Add cold shredded roast chicken to bump it up to a main course salad.
